So all ready to exchange and complete tomorrow (no chain and in rented) and solicitor today discovers that an old mortgage the sellers paid off years ago hasn't been "discharged". We can't exchange until this happens apparently, which Google suggests could take weeks :(
Any advice or anything that can be done or is it sit tight?! Concerned this could take us very close to stamp duty deadline.
