Hi all, i discovered a leak last week when I noticed water running down an upstairs wall and a dripping from the corner of the nearby ceiling. Turns out its worn flashing on the roof and should hopefully get it sorted end of this week. The leak is running down a beam in the loft and down to a corner. DH has packed the area with old towels, poked a hole in the ceiling etc.
The room has lining paper up and the top of the paper in at this corner has gone a bit bulgy and bubbly looking, can anyone offer advice on what to do about this? Will the paper just need to be removed? If so, any tips on how to do this without damaging adjacent unaffected lining paper? Thanks
