Plumbed in automatic dog bowl

Anyone got one?
We’re having our kitchen fitted right now and we left a gap for dog bowls. It’s right next to the plumbing so we were considering putting in an automatic dog bowl. I was wondering if anyone else had done this?

I wouldn't get one unless you have loads of dogs.

Its just another thing that can break. You have to think about algae and mould. Automatic horse drinkers often go green and fuzzy, can lead to respiratory problems. If you're cleaning it twice daily then you might as well just fill it up at the same time.

And you can't tell when your dog is not drinking as the bowl is always full.
