Can you put drawers under a kitchen draining board?

This is probably a ridiculous question, but I’ve not had to do a kitchen or similar before. I am designing our new little utility room.

If we have a sink with cupboard underneath it, and a draining area to the right of the sink (effectively over the next ‘unit’) - what can the under draining board area be? I would like drawers, but we could put washing machine there, or just a default cupboard.

All the photos of totally fabulous rooms online are so much larger than our utility that it doesn’t seem to matter what is under the draining area!

Thanks

Yep drawers are fine!

100% yes. We have a 600mm unit for the sink and 400mm drawer unit next to it, with draining board on top and it's a non-issue.

Drawers are 100% ok but the dishwasher is standard, I'd think.

yes - I have this. It is only the sink that 'hangs down' so doesn't have space for a drawer directly beneath. You can put whatever you want under the draining board.

I've got drawers under the kitchen drainer and washing machine under the utility drainer.
