Compact sinks for bathrooms

Hi,
Has anyone got a compact wash basin with vanity unit within the 36-45cm depth range? We are really struggling to find anything larger than a cloakroom sink but smaller than a 50cm depth sink that meets our needs.

DP and I are doing a loft conversion but our new en-suite is tiny and the sink has to be close to the door.

We think we need a sink with a mounted tap, not one coming out of a wall, because the sink is against a chimney (that's in use) so we can't save space this way.

DP is also set on having a vanity unit, which all seem to be in stock standard sizes. Can you buy a sink and fit a custom vanity unit around it?

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

We bought ours on ebay a few years ago.

It wasn't this exact one as I can't find the original listing, but it was similar

I think I may have misread your post, sorry!

Would this be the kind of thing you were after though?

Basin & unit sizes approx:

Width: 550mm
Depth: 440mm
Height: 860mm

I've got this one, it's OK for the situation you describe (otherwise bigger depth is of course preferable and more comfortable). It's a bit of a hybrid between a cloakroom sink and a vanity unit Wink

Have you looked at Ikea? I don't know what they have now, but we got ours from there a few years ago and it is less than 45cm deep.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I think we might try and get a narrow vessel basin, approx 340mm deep and then cut down a wall hung vanity unity to fit.

Sounds like a lot of work!

This one looks very petite. It’s a (super stylish) DIY job - though a tutorial is on the way apparently! Smile
