My daughter and husband are with EDF energy and pay for boiler
insurance. The boiler broke down two weeks ago and their insurance company with EDF decided to repair it instead of replacing it and ordered wrong part then messed up engineer appointments. Finally fixed yesterday and stopped working again today. The insurance company won’t pay for a new boiler but the engineer now says it needs replacing. They now have no heating and two young children and typically the weather is very cold. I’ve advised my daughter to contact Citizens’s Advice and trading standards. Any other advice gratefully received.
