Hi,

This is probably a silly question & I have tried googling. But for a long time, I've had problems with condensation on all my double glazed windows in my terraced house. I had someone come and look a couple of years ago & they couldn't find anything obviously wrong with the windows.
The condensation has got so bad that the black line around the windows have worn down & is coming away.. is this the seal? Its the black you can see & feel between the window pane & the UPVC frame.
I do leave windows open & clear away moisture as soon as I can.
I've been trying to find what this part of the window is called, so I can look into repairs or what might need doing

Thanks

Have you tried having trickle vents installed on the windows? That may help a bit with the condensation.
