I've got a Wren Infinity Plus Kitchen in a dark colour and it's a nightmare for fingerprints... had no clue when I bought it. Big mistake!

Anyhoo, any tips for cleaning it? Don't want to damage the doors

I have similar in gloss. I was told not to use any type of bleach cleaner. I find it only needs soapy water. The main thing is a good cloth. I use quality microfibre and it looks lovely.

Fab, thank you - will be sure to invest in a good microfibre.

Any particular soap you use @Fairydustrust? x

You don't actually need soap with a good quality microfibre cloth. They kill bacteria. I still like to use something though!. Just washing up liquid or a little bit of liquid hand soap as this doesn't smear.

Dettox and a microfibre cloth shoule be enough.

Hey all, so I've just wiped some of my units down with a slightly damp sponge and they look dusty almost. Slightly faded even?!

Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice? A little concerned as I've only had the bloomin thing 5 minutes.

I only ever use Method kitchen cleaner and a microfibre cloth. Nicely cleans my worktop and units.

Smallgoon · 07/02/2021 23:47

Oh and pic please Smile

Love love love method! I used the Method washing liquid for the units.
Will DM ya a pic of half the kitchen... other half is still buried in crap. Excuse the mess...

Mine is acrylic gloss and I use a mr sheen laminate floor spray after cleaning with a degreaser, I find the cupboard above the hob and extractor gets tacky and dust clings to it.

I also have wren infinity and have fingerprints and oily/greasy marks that are not going with washing up liquid and microfiber cloth .. any suggestions gratefully received

Unfortunately if you don’t wipe them as soon as they appear, they can stay permanently

I managed to get a near full set of doors sent over by Wren very early in (I’m talking less than 60 days) after my kitchen was fitted. If yours is quite new, I’d say it’s worth trying your luck!

They also said the best way to clean them is a smidge of washing liquid on a damp microfibre. But as soon as you’ve wet it with the damp cloth, you need to dry it with a dry one. Otherwise this leaves the “dusty” marks I mentioned before (I wasn’t drying the doors down after wiping them, I was letting the doors dry off but instead that was staining them!).

I’ve not fitted the new doors on yet. Waiting another couple of years until these ones get really bad, but good to have saved a few bob ahead of time!
