Advice needed

So we sold our house in October to an investor, we put an offer in on a new build straight after and now ready to exchange but our dream house has become available, we’ve put an offer in which has been accepted.

Mortgage advisor has said that it’ll take two weeks for the amendment. We’ve got a new solicitor who can get searches back in two weeks and the house we’re buying, they’re moving into a new build which is ready to move in.

Is there any chance well make it for stamp duty holiday?

What shall we do about our current solicitor, keep them for just our sale and then use the new solicitor for the purchase ?

Help!

If you are lucky you’ll make it. We had an offer accepted on the mid January but the earliest we could book the building surveyor was 2nd week in February. We still hope to make it. How are you getting the searches back so quick, that should help it move the process along quickly.
Check you contract with your solicitor.
