Bedroom Decorating *Photos Included*

This is my bedroom currently. Not sure about it and I'm thinking about decorating it.

So looking for some advice. What would you do with this room?

I really like natural colours. I like white and beige with natural oak, etc. but I also like floral patterns and pink. Not that popular dusty pink that's common at the moment. I love hot pink! Bright and bold but then I also want to keep things natural looking so hot pink does seem to be out.

Really hate the carpet. It's also being destroyed by cats. We have it through the whole house. It's a silver grey colour and not very old and we can't afford to change it sadly.

Get a Pinterest account and search for a bedroom with the colours you've mentioned and see what tickles your fancy, I love having a good scroll through Pinterest and fantasising about my perfect house

I agree, Pinterest is a huge help with interior design choices. I feel that the walls are too light and a bold/deep feature wall behind the bed would make it more cosy. A nice rug would hide the carpet until you can change

I do like the bed and the bedding though, it looks lovely and clean and fresh!

How is your room so tidy? Where's all your 'stuff'?

It was very messy, I did my six monthly bedroom tidy just before I took the pics, it gets tidied when it gets so bad you can't walk in the room anymore! 🤣

And I actually took the photos to remind me how much better it looks when I keep it tidy! Motivation to keep it tidy, haha.

There's a built in cupboard just beside that white wicker bin in the corner, so that's where all the 'stuff' goes

Bedside rug, maybe change the curtains, cushions and a throw on the bed, another lamp on the other bedside table.

And put some photos in that frame and hang it...maybe a narrow console or bench at the end of the bed if you had room. Some plants might look nice.
