We have recently found ourselves with a flooded cellar. 9 years in the property it’s always been dry and we have never had a problem with water ( on a hill !) till last week but with flooding nearby the water table must have risen as pipe leak has been ruled out. The cellar already has damp proofing and a lined concrete floor. Has anyone been in a similar situation ? adding a sump to an already converted cellar. I’d be grateful for any advice I have a feeling it’s going to be costly !!
