Wales - Searches

Has anyone recently purchased in Wales?
How long did it take for the searches to complete?
We've been given a generic time line but some actual first person feedback would be great.
We have had our mortgage offer and the searches were to begin this week.

Which part are you looking at? We sold in Cardiff and our buyers' searches were back in a couple of weeks. We bought in Pembs and it took about 8 weeks...

We are buying in Caerphilly. I've paid for the searches today. We need to complete before the end of march. Fingers crossed!!
