Worktop overhang

Slight dilemma as I was planning on having lighting underneath the work surfaces but the only way to do this would be to have a minimum of 2.5cm overhang which I think is too much? What is a normal amount for a modern kitchen? Any pictures would be useful.Smile

Can you get a thin LED strip recessed into the underside of the work surface and reduce the overhang?

Thanks for the reply @LazyDoll, this would be with the strip recessed into the worktop unfortunately.

Normal overhang is 2-4cm but frankly you can specify what you like. Mine are 2.5 on most units and 4 on the island and I dont even notice them. Masses of space for LED strip which is only 1cm wide

Thank you@Loofah01
