Induction Hob

Hi, I have an induction hob that won’t pick up some of my induction friendly saucepans because they are too small. I’ve been cooking a long time with induction so know my smaller pans won’t work on the bigger rings, which is annoying. Apart from changing my hob (can’t afford it and not sure if there is one on the market that eliminates this problem) is there anything that you can rest underneath the smaller pan that fits the ring and makes it work? DH tried putting a cake base on the ring and saucepan on top and it worked.

Lots of induction hobs do sense smaller pans. Mine does. Down to a really small milk pan. Just depends on the brand.

Hi Brakeback, thanks for the link. We did some digging earlier and found those and other types on Amazon. I wish I'd found them sooner, it will make life easier! Thanks PresentingPercy, one day I'll invest in a replacement hob that detects the smaller pans 👌
