Hi
I wondered if anyone who'd had a diy-kitchen fitted had managed to install a pull out unit with push to open fittings? I'm going for the Carrera range. The member of staff I asked on the phone said this wasn't something they offered so couldn't comment on it.

Thanks

you could possibly source the push to open fittings from another company and get your fitter to install them in the units you buy ? we have a DIY kitchen and went for standard handles and soft close

I haven’t installed them myself but had them in my last kitchen and they’re a nightmare!

Have you ever realised how often you and everybody who goes in your kitchen rests against the cabinets? About 77 times a day and you’ll get whacked in the hip by an opening cabinet every time!

@chloechloe I quite agree! It is just going in a couple of units hopefully (small oven drawer below single oven and a couple of 150mm pull out units in the corner) which I think would be overpowered by our handles

Update for anyone looking in the future - this won't work as the drawer fronts go over the front of the cabinet (at least for the range I'm looking at) so there would be no where to push the drawer front in to.
