ExP Con estate agents?

Not really sure where to post this but we’ve seen a couple of nice houses advertised by an ExPCon agent. Lots of emojis and MLM type posts are putting me off, does anyone have any experience of them?

A what agent? I’ve never heard that term, what does it mean?

Yes those kind of posts from an estate agent would put me off using them as my own agent, I would probably still view the house then decide, you’re under no obligation at that point

I would avoid anything, any kind and of business, that looks MLM with the word “con” in the name. It probably does exactly what it says on the tin. Grin

A what agent ?
Sounds dodgy

Ok, so on further investigation it looks like the ‘con’ but was because the estate agent spoke at the ExP convention, should have looked at that first sorry. So the company is called ExP but the agent keeps calling themselves a small local company. How could you be small and local but also have a convention in the USA? They call themselves bespoke.
We love two of the houses though, such a pain.

ExPCon appears to be an American Estate Agent's conference with the actual firm called Exp.

There does seem to be a UK arm with some sort of franchise model.

If you are seeing these houses on Rightmove I can't see any reason not to look around. Lots of EAs are idiots, ultimately the houses still get sold.

Well after further research they are an MLM (pyramid scheme). We aren’t going with them because of that.
@Alwaysmoving2 the US model of workers rights is nothing to aspire to and I’d rather not encourage that.
