Putting a new bathroom in thre attic. Floor probably isn't strong enough for enameled cast iron. What's the best option of material for us?

2 young dc, this will be the main family bathroom

Were not planning to move so this bath needs to last a long time

Our last bath didn't hold the heat so something that will stay warm!

Looking at well insulated acrylic, what do you think?

We've got a steel one. Not as heavy as iron, but have had it for 12 years and it's still going strong. We moved it from 1st floor to loft room as well and it survived that!

Acrylic here and can’t believe how badly it’s scratched in just a few years. Reinforce the floor with plywood and get an enamel one!
