How much to do?

We plan on moving the nearish future - say 12-18 months. I am trying to start sorting out and decluttering the house but my question is: of the 3 adults living in the house 2 are WAH and have 2 spare rooms converted into offices. All the photos of houses I am looking at look like they have come out of Homes and Gardens - ours is more... lived in! I wonder if we should, a little way down the line, clear the offices out and revert the rooms back to bedrooms - even if it's just for the photos, so prospective buyers can see how they would work. It is a 4/5 bed house and only 2 actual bedrooms. It would mean massive upheaval but I assume most people buy a 4/5 bed house for the bedrooms?

I presume it’s a four bedroom house plus box room. The box room is one of the studies. If so, I would put a bed in one of the other rooms as well, so there’s at least three ‘bed’-rooms.

Nothing wrong in looking lived in, as long as it’s clean and tidy (and nothing buried in the garden, but that’s a whole different thread...). Definantly de-clutter prior to the photos - clear work surfaces, floors, etc, even if it’s all stuffed out of sight in a cupboard.
