Electrician doing paperwork 2 years after installation

Another tradesperson problem!
I had to contact Napit as electrician refused to provide paperwork
for new consumer unit when he did it . Will it still be valid 2 years later?
Also I have no receipt

This is notifiable work so have you checked on your councils building control webpage that it is actually on there. We had a new consumer unit a couple of years ago and the record is on the building control bit of the council. If it is on there it does show it was notified as it should be and then you just need the paperwork.
