Help! How do I sign the mortgage deed ?

Can someone help. I need to sign the mortgage deed. First part has been witnessed second part where it says to be signed as a deed in the presence of a witness. Does that need to be a solicitor? Thanks

No, it just needs any witness.

lboogy · 18/01/2021 19:13

So the witness signs twice ?

There's a lot of visible information on that second pic @lboogy

The witness signs twice if there are two of you taking out the mortgage.

In exactly the same way as on the second picture. (you might want to report and remove the second pic - your names and new address are on it!)

Hi OP

We've removed your images as they contained private info - feel free to repost with a bit more editing!

Oh thank you! I thought I'd scrubbed it out . Thanks everyone for your help
