Quick Step Impressive Ultra

I've done a lot of reading about various laminate floorings. Most of the ones that I'd like to buy are not available in my country. However, one that I can get is Quick Step Impressive Ultra. I read another thread on this site about it, but it was old and when I tried to post there it suggested I start a new thread. So...

Does any one have any advice on this flooring?

It is for the bedroom and living room. While those are not wet areas, I do like to keep my floors very clean so I plan to clean them regularly.

Thanks!

Hi OP
We have quickstep LVT (vinyl planks ) in the bathroom.
They’re click together, rather than glue.
Very impressed with their weight and manufacture.
Was worried they’d have the ‘clack’ of laminate but they don’t and to me , they’re not as cold underfoot as laminate.

You can guess I’m going to ask have you considered their vinyl range?

Thanks for the reply.

No, we've not really considered their vinyl range. We thought about it in the early stages of our fit out (it is a new build apartment that was delivered in bare concrete condition), but our construction crew was against it. I think they just have no experience with it though and therefore were afraid of something new.

Also, we have a piano that is very heavy. We are afraid the LVT would scratch/dent when getting it in place.

We installed this laminate between xmas and new year. In my previous property i had the same floor installed but the 8mm version but this time i opted for the ultra 12mm version. Although it was a click system i found myself having to hammer in pretty much every single plank so that they sit flush.
