So...We were supposed to have to exchanged on our property sale and purchase last Tuesday with completion for last Thursday. After our buyers solicitor lost their signed documents that all got called off. We have now agreed for a new date of exchange tomorrow and completion on Wednesday. I’m a bag of nerves. I have had confirmation from my solicitor that she has agreed with all parties that exchange will take place on Monday. Our funds have been drawn down, the funds of our buyers have been drawn down, their buyers have paid the deposit. Other than the obvious death, Covid and pulling out, what else could go wrong? Can I assume it will all go ahead? I think I’ve read too many stories of horror to believe it could actually work out
