Does anyone have a sauna?

We moved into a house that has a room all kitted out like a sauna. It doesn't have the actual sauna bit though?! Does anyone actually have a sauna in their house that would recommend it? Is it worth the hassle of trying to source and install the right equipment? Or just give up and get a hot tub like everyone else!

Is it it just a heater?

Following this, I’m sorely tempted to get one. I have some outbuildings and would like to put one in there.

We’ve got one in a chalet in France. Last used in 1996 I believe. Currently used to store wine. I don’t really see the point in it.

We have one, my dh loves it and uses it mainly in winter after exercise. I don't love it though and would never put one in if it wasn't there already.

Can you use the room for something else op? Utility? Dressing room?
