Bellway Homes!

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a bellway home but currently own a home so I was looking at express mover they offer, where they help sell your home.
Does anyone have experience with this?
It says they sell your home and get a buyer in place then once a plot becomes available you can reserve it. What if my house sells and a plot isn't ready yet, where do we live!? I don't want to be chasing a private let etc until a plot eventually becomes available.
Thank you

Why so rude?

Hmm

Not Bellway but lots of people on the new build development I live on did this and the builders company they use for it coordinate it. So if yours sells and they need to delay as the new house as it isn't ready, they just delay the sale of your house ( just as you could with a standard sale.) Sometimes they will buy your property themselves if they cannot coordinate it or it falls through due to delays.

My new build was due to be ready end Nov/ Dec and I got in there end of April, so delays are very very likely.

"What if my house sells and a plot isn't ready yet, where do we live!? I don't want to be chasing a private let etc until a plot eventually becomes available. "

This is how it works, it's not really a way to avoid the pain of buying and selling simultaneously. Sorry.

Well I previously sold and bought before, moved out the old house on Friday and straight into the new one on the Saturday. So I managed it just going through estate agents and lawyers.

It's just beacuse this is through a scheme by bellway I wanted more info on how they work it. If can be done.

Yeah so they're most likely to put it up for less than what it's worth aswell so it sells quicker.

We call this smooth move.

Unlikely that there will be no plots available and dependant on material availability plots that are in the final stages can be done quite quickly.

The way we work it is that if a sale is agreed in a smooth move it will be all systems go on the plot that gets reserved

Worth asking if you could part exchange too. Makes things a lot less stressful.
