Where to live in Gloucester

We are relocating to Gloucester and are looking for a two bedroom property with a garden or outdoor space.

What areas should we look for or avoid please ? No children so schools are not an issue but we want to be within walking distance of a good dog walking space. We are first time buyers.

Abbeydale, Abbeymead, Upton St Leonards, parts of Longlevens all nice. Do you have any other requirements on area i.e for work?

Quedgeley for the canal.

Avoid Matson, White City, Tredworth and Kingsway.

We are both going to be working in Cheltenham but can't afford the prices there as we don't want a flat.

Churchdown is between Cheltenham and Gloucester. Some nice dog-walking places and good transport links.
