New house and I have a dryer space. There’s a vent. Do I want a vented or heat pump one?

I love our Zanussi! At first I wasn’t sure by its looks but now I wouldn’t buy anything else. Very sturdy build and design too. I think it’s this model, Zanussi ZTE7101PZ

I've just got an LG heat pump wifi enabled dryer. It's brilliant!

Miele condenser.

Zanussi condenser. Had mine for years. Automatically shuts off when clothes are dry.

We have a Bosch heat pump, its like a condenser in that it collects water and you can either drain it away or by plumbing it in the water drains away automatically. I love it, takes longer but whereas our old condenser dryer would generate tons of heat, this doesn'tSmile

Bosh Condenser.

We have (had?) a vent but I think the condenser was cheaper.

Watching, as I managed to hobble mine by forcing the timer dial into the off position. It's due for replacement as I've limped along with it for 7 years so it's bound to break down shortly.

The previous one was wrecked by DS using it as a climbing frame. (He claims to have no memory of this.)

I'd like something a bit more indestructible.

We have a Beko heat pump dryer, as previously mentioned heat pumps do take longer but use less electricity. It has a light inside which is very handy as we loose a lot of kids socks, plus its so quiet I forget its on until it plays a tune at the end.
