Ordered window & frame arrived separate to glass - normal?

I ordered a window in November and it finally arrived today. I was expecting one window piece but the sill, glass and frame arrived as separate components. I've never ordered a window before and the company said this is how the deliver and the fitter just pops out the beading to put the glass in. Apparently it's an easy task...

Has anyone ordered a window before? Is this normal?

Completely normal.

Yes, normal. Allows the installer to Toe & Heel the Window in.

Many thanks both - this is really reassuring. The window company didn't mention this when I ordered so I was surprised to have it turn up like this!
