House viewings

Hi,
I’ve just put my first home on the market. Obviously I’ve only ever been on the other side of the process

How do viewing numbers normally go? Are there a lot initially and then it slows right down? We’ve had a few in the first 24 hours of the property being up but now I’m panicking that it’s all we are going to get. But maybe the majority of people don’t check right move religiously everyday like I did.

Normally how long does it take people after a first viewing to request a second?

Is feedback generally useful or are people a bit wishwashy and don’t really tell you anything useful?

Gosh lots of questions,

How do viewing numbers normally go? It is different for everyone but often a flurry when it first goes on,

Are there a lot initially and then it slows right down? It can do, but not for everyone.

Normally how long does it take people after a first viewing to request a second? Not long, a few days max.

Is feedback generally useful or are people a bit wishwashy and don’t really tell you anything useful? People are seldom honest.

Numbers will vary by house and also this year being affected by lockdown.

Ours went something like 4 first week, 3 second week then 2 each week until sold week 5 and 1 price cut. Others sold within a week, a lot on for a few months, and a few on for a year.

Our offer was after 1 viewing. 2nd viewings up to a week generally after.

Feedback was useful and consistent but at end of day normally comes down to price.
