Relocating to Surrey or Hampshire

Hi, I have a 3yr old and 8m old and we are looking to relocate to Surrey. I had my heart set on Guildford or Farnham or somewhere similar but I’m struggling to find anywhere that ticks all our boxes. We’ve found a few houses we like but they’re slightly out of Surrey which I never considered originally. Could anyone let me know what Wokingham/Finchampstead or Fleet are like? These are the places I’ve seen houses at but have no clue what they’re like and I would like a really honest opinion before driving all that way to view!
Any other areas I should be looking at?
I was after the same sort of vibe as a the Surrey places mentioned along with things to do for children. As well as any private school suggestions.

Hi there - sorry to say this but Guildford is a great place to live. Completely differing to Fleet for example.

What are you looking for in Guildford? We’ve been here 12 years and know it very well.

Fleet is completely different to Guildford. What is your budget and what are you looking for? People may be able to suggests areas much closer to Guildford/Franham then Wokingham (which is a 40 mins drive - not what I would call close) which could fit your brief.

Wokingham and Finchampstead are in Berkshire. Neither are similar to Guildford, but they are OK.
I don't know Farnham all that well.
Fleet is OK but has grown a lot since I was there.
I'd look nearer Guildford.
