Anti-slip treatment for acrylic bath - any experiences?

We recently had our bathroom refurbed. No space for a separate shower cubicle, so the shower is over the bath. However, the new bath has a smooth surface which often feels a bit too slippery, especially when getting out of the bath after a shower. I know there are anti-slip bath mats but not v keen on those (extra thing kicking around cluttering the space, potential mould).

Been looking online and found some products that can be "painted" onto the bottom of the bath to make is non-slippery - for example.

Has anybody tried anything like that? Does it look decent or gets grubby and grey quickly? Does it feel gritty when actually taking a bath and sitting on this surface?

Hopefully someone will be along soon with some experience. We just have one of the mats but they get seriously manky and they're so hard to clean.

We haven’t tried the paint on stuff but we did use permanent non slip stickers - a whole load of little circles about 3cm across with a rough texture.

They stayed put and worked well for non slip purposes, but were somewhat rough on the bum when sitting in the bath, especially on the kids’ delicate behinds! I suspect any kind of permanent non slip solution would have the same issue.

Could the mat be cleaned in the dishwasher?
