Moving to Acton Town

We are thinking of moving to Acton Town W3 as we have rented in Ealing Broadway before but cannot afford to buy a property in W5. I saw a few houses near the Acton Police Station / Fire Station. Would you say it is a nice area for a young family?

Lots of people move to Acton for the same reason.

It is a bit cheaper for a reason - the high street is not great especially compared to neighbouring areas.

But you can easily travel back to Ealing or to Chiswick, Hammersmith, Westfield, Notting Hill etc if you want fancier shops and restaurants.

There are loads of families there. You won't stand out.

Gunnersbury park is probably closest to that part of Acton. And plenty of small playgrounds around.

Well, I've heard it says that the reason Acton has 7 stations is because people are so eager to leave.

I'm kidding of course. The high street maybe isn't as upmarket as surrounding areas but that doesn't mean it's not a nice place to live. Your quality of life will be vastly affected by being able to buy just a bit more for your money too.
