What's affordable to you? Do you need work / schools / beach / transport links?

It depends on your budget and if you need to find work. Lots of places a little further up valleys are very affordable but there is little work.

Cities like Cardiff are quite expensive but have everything.

Swansea valley is kind of central and if you drive is handy to get to a lot of places. Unable to comment about affordability because obviously that’ll be different for everyone but it was very affordable for us - we managed to my dream house with land and potential within our budget. For us, we wanted to have the best of both worlds and we like to be outside. We are 15 minutes from the mountains and 30 minutes from the coast and this was important to us - we are also 3 miles from amenities (sweet market town with independent shops and a leisure centre and schools etc) and 5 miles from a town that’s a bit bigger

@Flowersblue South Wales covers a vast area. I live here so I know haha do you need to be by the M4 or train line? What’s your budget? Schools etc. The valleys are much cheaper and affordable than cities. Any questions just ask ☺️
