Hello all,
We currently leave in Surbiton but quite far from the centre so thinking about moving soon. Have DD 2yrs old and so best primary and secondary schools are important plus access to parks and music/dance/drama classes. Our budget is around 600k and although we prefer a house a good flat would also be an option. We started thinking about Guildford too but we don’t know it well but read good things about it and we probably could get a house there. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you

Hello. I’m in Guildford - happy to answer any questions about it. Secondary school catchments are tight though - although I recognise that’s a few years off for you. Essentially you want to be in the catchment for County or George Abbot. You can get a house for that budget in those areas, you’ll get more for your money near George Abbot. With that in mind I’d look at the Burpham area of Guildford. Good primary schools there too.
