I have just replaced shower tray and cubicle , how do I keep it clean, I think I damaged the aluminium on my previous one with harsh chemicals to remove soap scum and lime scale

Cream cleaner and a scourer (I like scrub daddy but any will do- nothing too scratchy). Dampen, scrub, rinse, dry. Keeps it clean if done regularly (I’m dreadful so fortnightly is about my efforts). HG limescale remover if you ever need to and don’t leave any limescale product on too long as it will trash chrome plated surfaces if left. We live in a rock hard water area and cream cleaner more regularly than fortnightly would be more than sufficient!

Thank you and from what you have advised I think in the past I may have left the lime scale remover on for to long

Install a water softener. It will stop the limescale from getting there in the first place.
Save you time scrubbing it off as well as keep it all clean.
