Do I need an integrated tumble dryer?

Our ancient tumble dryer that came with the house broke. Our kitchen is integrated but we don't care about putting a door on the dryer, we don't have one on the washing machine.

Do we need an integrated dryer or could we get anyone that fits? There are only 3 available and they're all ridiculously expensive!

Our freestanding condenser tumble dryer needs a minimum gap around it for safe operation. I can't remember the exact amount, but several centimetres, so wouldn't be suitable to slot in tightly where an integrated machine has been. I imagine other freestanding machines are similar, so you'd have to look carefully at how much space you have and how much clearance the potential tumble dryer needs.
