Creating a new back door... ideas on cost?

Hi all. I’m looking at creating a new back door on the back of the house instead of the side, where the current one is, as I’d like a conservatory or similar adding on. Any idea on the cost of getting this done? There’s currently a window where I’d like it to be. Thanks :)

Just to change the windows at the back of the house to a patio door was 2k. I'd imagine maybe 500-1000 to brick up the side door. I'm in London if that helps.

If you intend to creat a conservatory then why don't you leave it as is until you're ready to do the work?

I’m looking at getting it all done imminently, so pricing it up now. It’ll just be a single door, not patio ones, so hopefully a bit less than that. Thanks :)

Single door in a standard brick or block wall would need a lintel, not difficult to cut into the current wall and install. Then you'd need to make good the outside and inside and redecorate.
