Second viewing after offer accepted

We are progressing with our purchase and are wondering if this would be considered reasonable? We are moving from a small property to a 5 bed so need to measure up rooms as we will be needing more furniture and want to order this in the sales!

We would make it very clear to the agent and vendor this is the reason and we are not getting cold feet. Would you mind this?

Not at all

BrieAndChilli · 21/12/2020 18:31

We did this.
First viewing, offer accepted etc. Then we asked for second viewing to take kids to see as they werent allowed at the first one plus measure up and ask some more detailed questions.

Keepcalmwhiskyon · 21/12/2020 18:33

We had to offer straight after the viewing as we really wanted the house and there were 5 more viewings that day. So didn’t get the chance for a very good look at room layouts etc!

We've just sold and let our buyers come back for another viewing.

Oblahdeeoblahdoe · 21/12/2020 18:44

I think most buyers want to go back and have another look. We invited ours so they could go round at their leisure, have a coffee, talk about the area etc. Lovely pre-covid days!

2bazookas · 21/12/2020 18:56

covid might get in the way.

The room sizes should be on the property details.

BrieAndChilli · 21/12/2020 18:57

Should have said the house is empty as vendors have moved out so was less of a covid hassle to have a second viewing

DiesalFive · 21/12/2020 18:58

Completely normal to do this!

KaptainKaveman · 21/12/2020 19:05

We did this, completely normal. Getting out your tape measure shows you are imagining yourselves there.

pinkdragons · 21/12/2020 19:19

Always done this. And expected this.

We viewed our current property 3 times after offer was accepted. All of those were to measure up or show a builder around so we could plan ahead.

The people buying ours came twice after the offer was accepted, again to measure up and show a builder.

FrostedCupcake · 21/12/2020 21:21

My buyer has been 4 times since they offered.. I also notice them walk past most days.. I have to check down the street before I go to the bin in case they catch me, I can never get away!!
We've been back to our purchase to measure up for certain things, it's totally normal!

TheGriffle · 21/12/2020 21:23

We took our kids to view after our offer had been accepted. We’d only had one viewing before that so it was nice to have another look, and measure the fridge space to see if ours would fit!

I did a second viewing after making a offer and it being accepted.

It was to show dh! I was going to buy it and as a rule I had been doing all the viewings alone so it was my prerogative to choose. Not sure what I would of done if he hated it. Still bought it I think
