I live in a council property and am considering a big revamp of my sitting room.
The boards are covered with a felty soundproofing topped with hardboard and we have carpet over that.
I want to remove all that, insulate under the floor and repair and polish boards, top with thick rugs and underlay.
Any ideas of how much this might cost? Willing to do donkey work but don’t know if I can face sanding another old floor
