Buying a home in Godalming

Hi there,
My partner and I are moving to Godalming from London and are looking for some advice on areas to live. We like a property on Ockford Ridge, but I can’t find anything recent about the area. We don’t have kids now, but hopefully will soon so schools need to be a consideration. Thanks so much!!

Your best bet may be to see if there any Facebook groups for the area as you wouldn’t be able to get any quicker advice than that. You can also try various websites including the Godalming T.C. along with Waverley B.C. websites...

It’s a nice area and also ‘currently’ in Tier 2.

It’s about 15mins from me, I have a few projects over there and some of my relatives have lived there for many years.

@DevilDamo - Tiers are changing hourly and the vaccine will have taken hold shorty, I wouldn't buy based on Tier 2 status Grin

Be careful with schools in godalming OP - very mixed bag. I ended up buying in Guildford for this reason

Hence why I said ‘currently’ Wink

@DevilDamo

I know but it's just irrelevant. It's like saying 'it's currently sunny in godalming'

DevilDamo · 22/12/2020 18:33

My comment may be irrelevant (although it was purely meant as a joke) but at least it was correct. Your comment is just incorrect as it wasn’t sunny in Godalming at 18:19 Grin
