How much to install a dishwasher?

In a kitchen that doesn’t currently have one?

Just looking got a rough idea. 13ft kitchen but I’m guessing the easiest place is near the washing machine, where there’s already an outlet. There’s cupboards all under the sink along so Labour would also be to convert one of those cupboards to an open space to put the dishwasher in.

Near the sink unless there is a hot water supply nearby the washer. Washers seem to only need cold but my DW runs on hot ( and cold if required)

Doesn’t the kitchen cupboard unscrew and come out. I did mine!

@CornishTiger I could totally take off the door - have considered it. But it has the bottom shelf that I didn’t know how to take out with pulling the whole unit out.

Do you mean the kick board at the bottom that sits flush with it all. Do you have any pics

CornishTiger · 20/12/2020 16:51

Take off kickboard.
Unscrew cupboard from inside to the ones showing it.
Release the legs the cabinet sits on but turning them upwards.
Should come out.
If not check youve not missed some screws. Otherwise it’s probably bolted to worktop and you’ll need a carpenter.

You need to check theres not a join in the worktop over the cupboard, otherwise it will be bolted together.
