Had a offer accepted on a Grade Ii listed property, all windows need repairing. There are three sashes, one leaded and four casement. I will try and attach a pic but can anyone give me a rough idea of cost? the surveyor said £800 per sash, £600 leaded and £200 casement? does this sound right?

My house was listed II and my surveyor recommended Ventrolla -
www.ventrolla.co.uk/. Too expensive for us as we had about twenty windows needing repair/renewal so we decided to go with a local joiner who charged £800 each - ten years ago.

Might be some info on the Listed Property magazine website?

We looked at central’s and thought their overhauls looked horrible. We found a local joiner who replaced the glass with ultra low profile double glazing, new cords, brass ware and wood repairs for about £800 per window - and they were mahoosive sashes.

I have no idea how Ventrola auto corrected to central’s. 😂
