Does anyone live in Hinckley, Leicester?

Hi,
We’re considering a house move to Hinckley, Leicestershire.
We currently live in a small village in Cambridgeshire but are originally from Leicester (and our families still live there)
This house ticks all the boxes, but is on a main road (we can get over that) but we’re just not that sure about Hinckley. Does anyone live there or have any insight into what it’s like?
Husband would need to travel to Nuneaton station for London, and we have a 2 year old.

Don’t do it! Much much MUCH nicer bits of Leicestershire. Wouldn’t go near Hinckley tbh! (Sorry to anyone who lives there!)

The Market Harborough side has a direct line to London. Good schools.

I work there and I would say no not great.

I live just outside Hinckley and I wouldnt want to live there. It's okay-ish but not worth relocating for. I'm sure if you've grown up and lived there it's just like home but not for me personally.

Hinckley is erm not the best. it's cheap for a reason, some of the surrounding villages are not great either either - Earl shilton, Barewell etc, all reflected in price. Burbage is ok, stoke golding is nice, stoney Stanton is not terrible. If the train to London is a factor Yarborough and the surrounding areas definitely.A bit pricier but so worth it. What's your budget?
