Has anyone ever used a staging company to sell an empty 3 bed house?

We are selling a house which is pretty much empty of furniture. Looking at other properties - all furnished - and after a chat with a friend who staged his flat which then sold very quickly - we are considering getting the house staged. Has anyone ever done this? If so any recommendations of which company you used? Thanks.

Watching with interest. I have a freshly refurbed property and am thinking of having furniture digitally placed for the online listing.

I've not used a company but I did stage my own a few years ago. Borrowed a few nice bits of furniture, faked the beds (it's amazing how convincing airbeds on upturned crates can look if you have floor length duvets and lots of fluffy pillows Grin), and got a nice rug for the living room. Oh and I found a beautiful screen to disguise the hideous old gas fire. Couple of throws and a vase or two of pretty flowers, job done.

It sold within 24 hours of going on the market.

I’ve done it with bits of spare furniture from our own house and stuff from IKEA. but it was quite a lot of hassle. But buy enough throws and picture frames (I put pretty wrapping paper in these) and it doesn’t matter of the furniture is a bit mismatched an ropey.
