Still no draft contract - pull out?

After being messed around by our last seller who removed the house from the market we put an offer in on a new property. It has already got close to exchange with different buyers several times and they have all pulled out for various reasons (not related to the property).

Our offer was accepted last week and since then we have heard nothing, apart from the memo of sale. I chased the agent and had no response. I find it odd that they wanted a fast sale due to the upward chain being ready but now have radio silence - presume the contract is already to send too as they had previous buyers.

We saw another property we considered offering on which is still available. Are we being paranoid due to last sale or would you pull out?

Not at all. Call the relevant people and say ther's another property you'll go with if the draft contract isn't communicated asap by close of play.

It’s the penultimate working week before Christmas. Conveyancers up and down the country will be manic with the deals which still stand a chance of completing in time. Yours is probably sitting on someone’s desk as low priority because it can wait until the new year. Have your solicitors notified them that they are acting?

It's been a week and you want a draft contract right before christmas at a time conyancers are at their busiest ever. i think that's a tad unreasonable.

If you want to go for another property go ahead but it ain't gonna be any quicker
