Built in wardrobe cost?

I'd be really grateful if anyone could share their experience of getting a built in wardrobe? I want to get a feel for how much they cost? I'm in the process of getting a few quotes but thought I'd ask here to see if the quotes tally with the normal range. The wardrobe would be 1.5m wide and would be floor to ceiling, mix of hanging space and shelves, nothing too complicated. Also keen to know thoughts on the options of MDF, wood or vinyl as clearly this influences cost quite a bit. Many thanks.

A family member got someone local to fit an ikea one in for £50. I think the ikea system she bought was approx 200.

Same here we bought the sliding wardrobes and a tall unit from IKEA and had a local joiner fit them in floor to ceiling. Cost about £500 total! Including funky disco coloured lights the DH wanted.
We had quotes from a few companies who wanted between £7,000 to one who wanted £15,500 for the same amount of storage. Yeah! Whatever!!!

Mine was £750 for 5 doors.

I had a local carpenter fit an Ikea one and build bespoke doors for about £400 total. It's brilliant.

I had a quote from Neville Johnson for £7000 for it 😱

£7000 (never mind £15,500!!!) seems like a crazy amount. I hope our quotes don't come back that high!
