Mosaic Tiles?

I’m in the middle of a kitchen refit and I need to get my tiles ordered pretty quickly before the tiler comes next week!

It’s a dark room, the kitchen units are cashmere, walls and worktops white and floor a mid oak. I fell in love with some patterned hexagonal tiles but it’s a narrow space and they didn’t look right.

I have found the attached which I like but they’re mosaics. Are they an absolute nightmare, difficult to keep clean etc?

I’m probably going to end up with metro at this rate but I do like these.

Mosaic Tiles?

Find out what's available nearby (Topps tiles, Wickes etc) as that's a short deadline to work to!
Mosaic tiles often come in sheets so I wouldn't worry about that and keeping them clean is as easy as any other tiles.

I know! The tiler had a cancellation so I would really like to use the slot. It’s just bare plaster at the moment.

I will have a look locally, luckily I don’t need a high volume.

Thanks for the info on mosaics. I’m not normally a fan but these are largeish and I think would just work.

I've got a friend who has hexagon tiles like that but are bigger than mosaic, they look great.

If I was picking myself I'd probably go for herringbone style.

Mosaics have a lot of grouting, and I think they are harder to keep clean especially in the kitchen. But these are bigger than normal mosaics and metro tiles are small anyway so the difference is not probably not enough to make you give up a style you like.

As PP said see what is around locally on a few days' delivery.
