Hello, I'm considering having a tiled shelf about 10cm wide, along the long edge of my new bathtub, between the bath deck and the tiled wall (there's no room at the far end). This would be flush with the bath deck, and sloping slightly (about 10°) so that the water runs (hopefully!) back into the bathtub. As you can imagine, I want to make sure that it's going to be completely waterproof & stable, as it will be drenched by the shower every day! So, I'm thinking of using Mapei Kerapoxy gout just for this critical area. This is quite expensive, but I've managed to get hold of a small pack at a reasonable price. I was just wondering if anyone else has used this product, or a similar one? Was it easy to use, and did it give a great result? Is this type of grout more flexible than cement-based ones, and does it accommodate slight movement?
