Folkestone property market

Just posting on behalf of some friends.....they have been after a 2 bed flat with garden for over a year now....keep getting gazumped and involved in bidding wars etc...they are quite specific about the parts they want to buy in....Anyone in that area that can offer any ideas....is folkestone just very popular right now...??...thanks.

We have lived here for three years...a friend was looking to move here (It is in my obviously biased opinion an amazing place to live) and gave up as the property market since lockdown has gone crazy...she’s now trying Margate instead as it’s less intense (but not as nice)

Sandgate and Hythe are lovely too.

They want Folkestone..they started to look a few years ago but still got gazumped and had time wasting sellers messing them about...they have found a nice flat that needs some work but the seller is lying and delaying everything....Other friends moved there about 6 years ago which seemed to be a good time to get a deal....
