We have been looking for a house to buy near and around Beaconsfield and as this area was quite expensive we widened our search and came upon a house we like in Flackwell Heath. What is it like living there? What's in the village centre? we drove around and couldn't find it..!! We are worried about living on a road that is not within walking distance to any small shops/cafes etc. and where there's nothing to do... We moved out of London a year ago and are now renting in Maidenhead but are looking to buy somewhere affordable (not more than 700k) with a lovely sense of community and with good schools.
Any advice from someone living in Flackwell Heath? What are the best primary and secondary schools in the area?
