I need help fixing a wilko roller blind

The 'string of beads' pull chain has popped out of its groove so the blind can't be rolled up and down. Does anyone know how to fix this? How to remove the blind so the chain can be rethreaded? I have a vague memory of watching someone do it and I think there was a trick to it, but I can't remember!

Not sure if mine is Wilco but lots are the same.

Both ends have a square peg sticking out and go into a mounting bracket.

One end should be spring loaded so you can push it in and free it from the bracket.

Take care - make sure you are stood on something suitable like a step ladder.

All roller blinds have the same basic mechanism so that should work.

I have a roller blind (Ikea) where at the end opposite to the beads there is a square peg in the bracket that you pull out and then you can pull that end of the roller blind down through the slot.

(Sorry, that's a dreadful explanation !) Confused

This is what I finally discovered! After breaking it Blush. So I cannibalised another blind and fixed it!! Thanks, all Smile
